Well done to the children in Y5 and 6 who represented the school in the swimming gala. By working as a team, you helped the team come second. Well done!
This group of Year 2s were an absolute credit today at the fun athletics event! They thoroughly enjoyed competing in a range of athletic events meeting lots of children from other schools in the local area!
This group of Year 3 golfers represented our school and the Ribble Valley at the The Lancashire School Games today! They worked so hard & were a credit to the school!
Well done to the 12 children who represented St James' at Wilson's playing field at the Hyndburn and RV orienteering competition.
The children had a fabulous time chasing through the woods and across fields searching for controls whilst reading a map and keeping a check on the time so as not to incur penalty points! Phew!
They were a credit to the school, all behaving impeccably.
Well done to Maimuna and Kaean who scored the most points in our school teams.
10 children from Year 1 went to Oakhill to represent the school and the Animal Olympics competition. They worked fantastically as a team and with lots of enthusiasm in running, jumping, skipping. They gained hundreds of points and claimed 4th place. We were very proud of their super efforts and behaviour.
Our fantastic runners were amazing during the cross country competition on Wednesday. Both the girls and boys came third against all the other large schools. Well done you were a pleasure to take!
